Before this program, I wasn’t sure if research was something I wanted to pursue long-term. After completing my project, I now know that I want to major in philosophy and continue working on research in college - and eventually, when in law school. This program helped me find my academic passion

The program taught me how to break down complex scientific papers and extract meaningful insights. Before, I struggled to navigate dense academic language, but now I can critically evaluate research findings and apply them to my own work. This has made me a more independent and capable researcher.

I was able to co-author a paper with my mentor, which is now under review for publication. I never imagined having this opportunity as a high school student. The process taught me patience, attention to detail, and the value of collaboration in research.

Having an expert in my field as a mentor made all the difference. They helped me bridge the gap between theory and application, turning my ideas into actionable research. I now feel much more prepared for higher-level academic work.
